There is always an emotional discharge that is expelled with every utterance. Well before words are spoken, they travel around the mind, heart, and soul grabbing the emotion brewing inside.
When we are feeling good inside, and the words are flowing from a higher state of emotion, they inspire enthusiasm to others. But if the words are impulsively spoken from a place of frustration and discord the effect is less helpful. Even if the actual words are kind in nature, the source of the thought and emotion attached to each phrase communicates precisely what is meant.
Sometimes it takes a moment or two for the mind to divided out the words and emotions. This is why it is a good idea to let there be a cool down before making decisions based upon another’s suggestion. This is particularly valid if there is even the slightest feeling of doubt stirring about.
Don’t disregard the power of the gut feeling, all too often the gut was right despite the logic of the analytical mind.
As we communicate to others, we first check the source of the emotion to make sure it is coming from a genuine state of mind.
