Glow through the Darkness
There is no doubt that as we travel life’s journey, we are going to run into a few bumps in the road. There will be betrayals, errors, losses, and tragedies. We’ve all had a little bit of each. Yet, we push through each or make amends moving ever forward. Like a candle in the wind, we have a choice, hold tight to the fire that burns inside or let it blow out our flame.
We have learned the value of keeping our glow. In our darkest moments, we glow becoming our beacon. Turning our attention to healing or finding solutions, our inner-strength grows ever-stronger. The most significant value of finding our inner-strength is using it to give others hope.
We avoid telling the ever growing ‘stories of woe,‘ which are discouraging at best. It is far better to lead by setting a good example which seems to have a positive effect on actions. Showing up every day with a good sense of purpose is paramount. Having a willingness to do anything we ask of someone else generates their confidence in us. Taking full responsibility for everything that happens. Even if it wasn’t initially our fault, we often discover there is something we can do to make a positive change.
Life is an experience which we learn from every day. Just as we need the dark moment to see the light, the light needs the darkness to learn to glow.
