Flexible Yet Strong
Like the reeds that run along the ever-changing streams and rivers, we must be flexible. There is a good reason for this. The world we live in is in an ever-changing universe. If we stand too firm in our resolve, a tidal wave of tenacious evolution will surely leave us bent and battered.
The strongest currents of the day are technology and social change. Though we may not all agree with everything, we must be agreeable enough to look at each new idea open-mindedly. If we do not, we may find ourselves climbing down the Ivory Tower of Babel hearing a modern language that we don’t understand.
As we go with the flow adjusting to the changes, we can easily fend off any obvious nefarious disciplines. Most know the difference between good and evil, even if there is a difference in opinion in lifestyles and moral codes.
The tone of the day is to be flexible, open-minded and willing to give others a chance to state their case before passing steadfast decisions.
We exercise our inner-strength with flexibility, open-mindedness and willingness to learn new ideas.
